Makeup: Foundation vs. Airbrush

Thank you everyone, for both your help and your compliments.
I just booked a 2nd trial with another MU artist who I know but who I hear and who seems very knowledgable. When I asked her about the airbrush she said the same thing. She asked me if I tend to have oily or dry skin and when I told her dry she said that the airbrush was not the way to go. That it would look cakey.
Ill try to the 2nd trial and if it doesnt work out I will do it myself. Thank you all again!

I like airbrush b/c it stayed on for sooooooo long and i agree it was so hard to wash off it was crazy, but i love that it stayed on for so long! It also makes your skin look really even.

However, this is the thing, my skin started to get a little oily later on throughout the night and i told my MU artist this. I have combination skin so she said shes glad i told her this b/c she is going to use a oil controling gel on me before applying my makeup. She also mentioned that my face should be completely dry and not to wear moistureizer as to avoid the oil build up.

i have my trial with her on thursday, did she say which cleansers are best to use beforehand? Or does she have anything there bc i am going straight after work and will have make up on but will have to wash it off. TIA

You must be soo0o0 excited! I cant wait to see your trial pictures im sure theyll be amazing. She didnt mention anything about cleansers but i also didnt ask her which is a good idea to do. And no unfortunately she has nothing there just simple makeup remover wipes =/
