How much are you spending on makeup and hair for the day of? I'm gett various quotes so I want to know what is avg. is $350 for hair a makeup normal?

I'd say $150 is a pretty normal price for hair or makeup. You can definitely find people for less, and some who will charge more, but I'd consider $150 each 'standard'
(I paid $150 for makeup, and less for hair)

it also depends if they are traveling to your house. i would say 150-300 is a good range
Mine on day of is $275 for both and $150 for my girls and mom for both

They're both traveling to my venue...but it's close to where they live. The makeup is $200 and hair is $150. I feel like thats a lot but that's what I've been finding in the westchester area. The artists in LI want to charge for travel and it ends up being a lot more.

$200 for makeup sounds a little ridiculous to me. at my friends wedding it think it was around $80 for the girls and maybe $100 for the bride.. and they traveled to her house

Any rec's for someone who would travel to westchester and cost less?
Oh I forgot to mention that the $200 sort of includes a trial because the trial is free. I guess that makes the prices better.

I'm spending nothing on make-up... rather then just buying it...so maybe what...30-40?? LOL> Then, my hair will be 85 with a free trial..which I'm doing tomorrow...
