Does anyone know why consultants charge more for the bride than they do for the bridesmaids?

I agree we are ****ers! But my makeup lady spent about an hour on mine and about half that on the BM's and my mom. She even stays during the brides pictures in the house for a little to see if she notices anything that she doesn't like.
