Hey Guys,

I was just wondering do you tip the Makeup artist at MAC when they give you a free trial? I am going later today for a wedding trial and i am not sure if you are supposed to tip?

Makeup- Tipping - Long Island Weddings

No--- I have never been there. When i walked in she told me that her regional manager was there so it was going to be $50 that i would need to spend on products. Which I was okay with because i know a regular trial is the same amount of money and at least i bought some stuff to use the day of the wedding. It was just bad because they were packed and she had to hurry up etc etc....i don't recommend going there for a trial. It was very rushed.

I was told the same thing when i asked the gurl to do my makeup- that they will do your makeup if you spend $50. I didnt know they do makeup for weddings? how do you arrange that? When I went i dont thing i told her it was for a wedding...

I sent her a FB message because she posted about coming in for a make up trial. It was just hectic because it was a Saturday afternoon and it was PACKED. We were def. rushed, but the makeup came out good and I am probably going to book with her! I would just recommend going during a week day!
