Makeup Trial Advice Needed

Hi galllllllssss..

I am having my very first makeup trial on Sept 24 with with Jacqueline Nicole! I am pretty much just a lip gloss girl, and I'll wear some cover up if I'm broken out. So, long story short, I know hardly anything about makeup.

Any advice on what to do/ask for? Or, if you're really good with makeup, any idea what would look good on me (there are pics of me in my albums - the wine tasting album and the wedding stuff album)? I'm pretty clueless and the only thing I know is that I don't want my makeup to be too extreme b/c that wouldn't be very 'me'!

i am the same way - i used to be one of those girls that wouldnt leave the house without a full face of makeup - until i met FH lol - he HATES make up hahahaha and i became lazy and now i hate a lot of make up too......i wear mascara and thats about it.....i feel like eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara - all that on an everyday basis is a little hookerish (jmo - dont want to offend anyone)......i am def more into natural beauty now.....so i was really nervous when i had my trial for my eparty....i showed him pics that i liked from magazines, all natural colors - i told him i wanted my eyes to stand out but without looking like a drag queen hahahahaha......and i told him i hate face make up and that i never wear it - he did airbrush and promised me that i'd love it - and i did......i am pretty sure if you explain to your make up artist that you don't wear a lot of make up and you want to look like yourself just better than she will know what to do.....i told my make up artist that i wanted to look like me just better - and not fake looking.....you can check out my album pics.....i've heard great things about JN so i am sure she is very professional and will know just the right thing to do for you!!! cant wait to see the pics!!

Your trial came out great!!! I want to set up another trial with someone else because I felt like i had so much on and everyone I email my pics to said it didnt even look like me! lol, so I know what you mean by still wanting to look like yourself just better! Thats exactly what I will say for my next appt. haha!

he is doing my make up again this weekend for my eparty.....so i will post more pics, hopefully it comes close to what he did for me the other day......i mean i def looked like i had my make up done, but i didnt feel like it was too much either.....i dont want to look like a totally different person especially on my wedding day and in my weddings pics......i just want to look like me but hotter LMAO ---> i crack myself up hahahaha

Tell her you want to look like you have makeup on but not scare anyone. Im sure it will come out beautiful!

Why dont u look through the makeup thread and see some looks you like. YOu can bring her pics to recreate.

i've heard so many good things about jaqueline nicole! i'm sure she will make u look beautiful...u have gorgous skin & gorgous coloring...so it wont be hard! here is a HUGE makeup thread...maybe it'll help! actually the very first picture of jlo is beautiful! MEGA MAKE-UP THREAD!!!!

if u tell jaqueline nicole to make u look elegant, and natural & explain i'm sure she'll do great...u also have a bonus of getting married in august...anything natural & shimmery looks beautiful in the summer! especially on ur olive skin...oh & ps: ur dress looks gorgous on u!

You want to look elegant and polished-maybe enchance a certain feature (eyes or lips) but not look like someone else (and especially not like a clown) . My first trial, I came out looking like a clown! I'm blonde/blue with semi fair skin. She put BRIGHT red lipstick on me with black eyeliner coming out like elvira! My second one was great-I really liked it. But I'm trying one more (with Jacqueline Nicole) and then deciding between my last one and her. I've heard amazing things about Jacqueline..... I would do what Future Mulligan and JTGarsik said...Tell her exactly what you want and bring some pictures (to show her what you like). And BTW.... You are beautiful (same goes for JTGARsik and Future Mulligan). I can't see anyone making you possibly look bad. So don't worry-tell her what you like and try to relax. I'm sure you will look beautiful!!!!
