Makeup Trial Cost?

Makeup Trial Cost?

Hi Ladies!

I'm in need of your advice again. I'm in the process of scheduling makeup trials. So far, one person is free, and the other is charging $75! (Talk about a huge difference.)

My question is this - is $75 for a makeup trial ridiculous? (This person came highly recommended from a family member in the beauty industry.)

Thank you!

I have a trial coming up and I'm upset that she's charging $55!!!! $75 is pretty high... I'd be like thanks but no thanks!!!

I am using Jaqueline Nicole and her trial was free.

I think both of those prices are expensive. I booked Denise from Angel Eyes and when I had my trail, it was $25 but since I booked her on the spot my trail was free.

Sounds like too much, my trial with Jacqueline Nicole was free.

Thank you, ladies! I had a feeling it was really expensive.

The free trial that I mentioned is with Jacqueline Nicole - I'm really looking forward to it!

I think $75 is too expensive for a trial. I paid $55 at a trial and the makeup didn't even last. I then went to Jacqueline Nicole and loved her. Try Jacqueline Nicole - she's great!!
1st trial is free, second trial for the bride is $55. Which I think is about average.

Well, I have not been impressed by makeup artists (but I am fairly adept at makeup myself)
I paid $25 for an airbrushing trial (airbrushing stinks if you don't have perfect skin - don't bother). I think $75 is WAY too much. How much do they charge for the wedding day?
honestly - few of the makeup artists have any real training. They buy the makeup and charge a lot. Maybe they have done some weddings but honestly - I bet you have friends who could do your makeup for free and do a better job than most makeup artists I've seen.
