I've already posted this already, but since it's so much closer to my wedding, I'm getting more nervous. I have only one person booked for a hair/makeup trial in July. My wedding is August 31. I live out of state, so this is my only chance to have trials done. Right now I have Pauline booked. I'm really excited about using her, but just in case, I would like to have at least a second trial with someone else. Just as a backup. What do you think? I'm worried also because, I probably can't find anyone available for my date since it's just under 3 months away! What should I do?

What you should do is relax! First off Pauline will probably be fine. Second, you can definately find someone else who is available. Makeup artists can do multiple weddings a day, and there are lots of talented folks out there. I'm sure you won't have too much trouble finding someone available. I can recommend someone who is great if you PM me (she's freelance and its her home number, so I don't like to post it publically). I know a number of people have posted numbers recently for other great people! Don't worry be happy, this isn't something you need to stress over.

Melissa I have heard wonderful things about Pauline. So try not to worry too much. Who is doing your hair? Jackie from Imakeup is great too (she advertises here so you can look up her info) You can schedule a trial with each person, but on different days. You want to see how the makeup holds up during the day.

Hi! My in laws were supposed to take care of this, but at the last minute are telling me that they don't know if the person will be able to travel out to Woodbury where my family is staying. I am from Buffalo, NY and with one month and one day, this is quite the curve ball. Would you mind emailing me with some people you would recommend?? I need hair and make=-up (as reasonable as can be!!)
I've posted a lot about Kristen at Enchante Salon and Day Spa in Smithtown. She did the hair and makeup for my September wedding, and we couldn't have been happier. I continue to go to her for hair cuts .. though it's been a while and I am in desperate need of a trim! She was great, and a lot of girls here have gone to her with success. I felt so comfortable and confident in her work at my hair trial, that I never bothered having a makeup trial .. and I was happy with the results.

Hi Melissa,
Don't fret over this. If you are happy with Pauline, don't make yourself crazy. My advice would be to stick with her but just incase, you do want another opinion, I'm using this girl named bessie. My sister used her for hair/makeup last year for her wedding. I think she is great. Her # is 718-707-1089. I'm sure everything will work out.
