Makeup trial question

For those of you who had a m/u trial already, did you do it on a 'random' day or for a special occasion?
I will prob have to plan mine for a random day but I feel bad making it 'go to waste'. I thought about scheduling it the day of my work holiday party, but I dont think i want to have that much make up on.....

I had mine done on an ordinary day...After my trial was done, I went shopping & did some housework..
