makeup trial question

At my first makeup trial, the woman gave me a lip liner and lipstick to hold on to until the wedding so that she didn't have to remember which color she used on me.

Now that I'm exploring other makeup artists, do I have to give the stuff back to her if I end up not booking her (I didn't sign any contracts or anything)???
