ok so im having mixed feelings about the trial. i had airbrushing done. it does go on light, but i have dark circles under my eyes and i feel they werent concealed that well. it was easier to see that more in person. i like the colors on the eyes because i did ask for pinkish purplish tones. the blush was so light i couldnt see it so she had to put more on. i think it looks nice, but im not like WOW! i mean i dont usually wear alot of makeup so i didnt want to look overdone, but i did want to look like i was done up. the lip gloss didnt last that long. i felt like she rushed and didnt have any suggestions for me. i told her i want my eyes to pop. i dont know. i need ur honest opinions. i can handle any kind of criticism. do u think it doesnt show up that much? i mean i know its hard to tell considering u guys never met me in person, but let me know what u think. thanks!

first i'll say i am very honest about these things only bc i want the bride to have great make up so anything i personally think is wrong or whatever i like to let them know, with that said
I like your make up alot, the eyes do stand out, the foundation looks great, and even the lipstick goes, you might want to even try a pinker lip color just to see if it compliments the rest of the colors better
i think your eyes look great but if you want more dramatic ask for a little bit more of a smokey eye and i think that will get the look you want

thank you. i actually had her do my eyes a bit lighter because they were too dark. i mean im also going to be tanner on my wedding day so maybe that will make a difference too. i appreciate ur feedback.

who did you go to?
Marie Katz. shes very nice and has a great personality. i wish she had some suggestions for me though. this may sound weird but i think airbrush may even be too light. i feel like its not lasting.

i did airbrush and not to sound disgusting, but the day after i had my trial i woke up late for work, so i left my make up and it stayed even the next day without having to touch up, infact i had 2 pimples when i got my trial and during the day i would have to touch up that area and cover it up with the airbrush i didnt have to do that at all.

i just looked in the mirror (my mom keeps yelling at me to stop, LOL) and it doesnt look like i had anything done. i think its the way the airbrush was applied. she did it sooo fast like 123...done!!

hmmm mine didn't take long either but she did spray it a few times. Also depends what type of foundation and the color. I mean this is what trials are for though, not that it will come out just the way you want it, but to see what they do and anything you can improve

i think it looks very pretty. If you think the foundation is too light then maybe go tanning a few times and go back to see how you would look a bit darker.She will have to use a darker color. It sounds like you have a pretty good idea of what you want. Either way you look beautiful with what she did.

thanks for all ur opinions. well its about 4.5 hrs after my trial and it doesnt even look like i had my makeup done. overall, i am a little disappointed. i do have another artist in mind though. thanks ladie, u rock!

I posted in your album....but I want to say that I love the colors she used. If the make-up artist was rushing she problably didn't take the time to put concealer on your eyelids to make the eyeshadow last so maybe that's why it looked as if it was gone after a few hrs. As for the lip gloss...that's gloss it never lasts long. That is something you have to constantly apply. There are tricks that you can do to make the lipstick color last....example lining your lips and then filling them in slightly with the pencil before you apply the lipstick and/or gloss. I would go a little deeper on the eyes. I know you had her lighten it up...but your eyes would pop even more with a little bit more of a deeper plum in the crease of your eye.
JMO...I work for Estee Lauder part-time so I am a make-up whore!! I have done numerous brides and actually love using plums/pinks on green eyed brides!

I think it looks great. It's not too much, it's not too little, it's just right, and, I really like it. And, you know I would find a way to tell you nicely if I didn't! I definitely like it a lot.
