I was originally going to have my makeup done by my sister's friend but now he's MAC certified so he would have to use all MAC makeup and it would be $175 for me and $75 for each person after that. It wasn't so much about the money as the fact that I really like Bare Essentials and makeup from Sephora so I didn't want to be locked into one type of makeup. So my sister and I decided that we could do it. We bought a bunch of makeup and probably spent less than the guy for the day of and I still have all the makeup. I really love how it came out. I would love some feedback though.
i think your eyes look awesome! i did my own makeup for my wedding too! the only thing i would suggest is a little bit more color on your lips. looks great!!!

Thanks ladies!! You make me feel great! The eyes are actually based on the Bare Essentials smoky eye kit with my own colors. It comes with 2 colors and a double ended brush and a little instruction book. She went off of that with purples instead of black/grey.

I love the colors. Those purple-y plum shades are lovely on your coloring.
However, since you asked I think you went a wee bit too light on the eyelid and too dark in the crease so that the two areas are too well defined from each other. Maybe with some additional blending it would be less obvious?
To make your lips pop and the color last all night I suggest you line them and then blend. You can use a natural color like chanel Nude which comes with a fab little blending brush and won't dry your lips.

I would go a little darker on your lips cause when you have the flash on it looks too nude. your lashes look great! I would go a little darker on your lid, try blending in the top color so theres a transition from dark to light. I love the eyeshadow color, what brand and color is it?
