Makeup trial with Oksana..

my trial with her is on Sat. I am so excited!! For those who have used her...any tips for the trial?? Do you tip? TIA

She's AMAZING! I had so much fun at my trial with her... and the day of she was PERFECTION! She absolutely the BEST!

OR FM her on her...I think I just saw that she responded to someone on the vendors board so why don't you try now?

I was not happy with the trial... she over did the makeup way too much.... make sure you bring pics

I also called her, back in September, left her 2 messages never got a call back. Don't want to take that chance. I've heard stories of makeup artist not showing up for the wedding. That would be a disaster.

Maybe she didn't call you back because the date isn't available? Did you ever e-mail her?

I didn't give my wedding date. I wanted to set up a trial. If that was the case a trial can be done any day. I think it is VERY unprofessional not to call back. You lose business like that.

Regarding the calls not being returned by Oksana, she's had a lot of trouble with her answering machine/voice mail. Unfortunately she has no way of letting anyone know these problems. The best way to contact Oksana would be via FM or e-mail. HTH!

I have my trial with Oksana and the hair genie in January. Oksana charges $40 for the trial if you go to her location. I think the day of is either $100 or $80, not sure. It is listed on her website. I have heard that you are supposed to tip about 20% so I will probably give her $50. HTH
