You don't have to tip for a trial if the makeup artist owns her own company. but I would tip no either way on your day. Good luck!!

i used her for my wedding - she did a great job

ps: I tipped $20 for the trial, i believe (it was a free trial) but you don't need to if you don't want to

I didn't tip her at the trial, though I booked on the spot and my mom actually gave her more money down as a deposit than she asked for so t's less we have to pay later. I will probably give her a tip for me and everyone else getting their makeup done the day of.
