It depends on the person... most trials I have inquired about have been $50.

sometimes yes, sometimes no. If they have to travel to you usually there's a fee, maybe 50 dollars. Unless they're a big well known city artist, those are sometimes 150 for a trial even with you going to them. But those are artists who have done tv and magazine work.

Damn, lol!!!!!!! My friend does hair and she said she could hook me up with a Mac artist, but I wanna see what else is out there. I love Mac, but don't know if it will be too wild.

Usually you have to pay for them, but I think some artists credit the amount you paid towards your wedding day cost. I went on 3 trials and I had to pay for all 3. Also, the artists that I went to don't credit the cost of the trial towards the wedding day makeup if you book with them.
