makeup trials

Hi girls
Is it too early to start makeup trials? I am not getting married until next May - but as the months go on I realize that people plan way ahead and Im nervous my date will be booked!
What do you think?

I don't think it's too early. I'm 5/25/14 and am planning on starting trials within the next few weeks. I know a few girls with weddings later in 2014 already have their hair and makeup artists booked!

Definitely not too early! I thought booking hair/makeup would be easy and I'd just book the first trial I went to, but that wasn't the case. And I'm glad I went early (I only just booked last week) because it also was one of my least favorite vendors to shop for, though I do love the girl I booked. So def go for it!

Def not too early..those are one of the fastest ones to book..I'm also getting married in May and I already have my hair booked and now looking into make-up

Check out Nicole D'Angio for hair. She's fabulous! She's more expensive than most of the vendors I've seen on here, but I think she's definitely worth it.

Good luck!

ETA: I saw Lighthouse posted your teasers, and didn't realize it was you! I was literally staring at them like OMG these are beautiful! Congrats :)

I'm getting married next June and I booked hair and makeup. I don't think it's too early considering they seem to book up quickly. You should look into Christina Amador Beauty (makeup) and Randi Ross (hair). Good luck!

Yes we are! We booked with Florio - he's so talented! We took our engagement pictures last October. They came out beautiful! We can't wait for him to do our wedding pictures.

I'm getting married on 3/8/14 and starting to book makeup and hair trials now. A few people I called are already booked for my date, so I definitely don't think it's too early!

I booked Angela's hair design for hair & she's coming to my house...as far as make-up I'm still looking into that, got a lot of suggestions and now have to start making trial appts

I went for one last week. They do book up quickly, so if you have someone in mind I would do it ASAP.

This!! My cousin had Nicole do her hair for her wedding and it was gorgeous and literally stayed until the next morning! My cousin has really difficult hair to work with so for a half up, half down curled style to stay for hours was amazing. Not to mention Nicole was sooo sweet too.
