IMO...you should tip...even if you go to 5,10, 20 trials...

i went to 2 and tipped at both of them. One was 45 and the other was 25 but i tipped 15 on both.

I think it's your perogative (sp). You aren't really ever obligated to tip, that's why it's CALLED a tip. An extra bonus for a service done above and beyond what is expected. If you deem the service worthy of one, then it might be nice to let the make up artist know that with an extra $$ amount. Otherwise, she isn't going to smear the make up all around if you decide not to--I think there are enough of us who have/haven't tipped that it isn't 'expected.'
