I keep mixing up the different makeup vendors. Please list any you have used or had trials with and your experience.

I had a hair and makeup trial with Jennifer from Fairytale Makeovers and loved her. I booked her for my wedding. She comes to your house the day of.

ETA: My trial pics Even though I had my hair done half up, I think I'm going to go with my hair all the way up. Once I get a hair piece (b/c I have very thin hair and not much of it )I'm going to go back to her to have a 2nd hair trial.

Also try Mya from Cosmetic Artistry. She is a vendor on here. She does hair and makeup and comes to you!

I'm getting married in September and I found this GREAT makeup artist from Estee Lauder - I know she's the one, she made me look beautiful! (In Manhasset)- Laura 516-869-9100 (at Estee) and 516-286-0026 (home). She just did my make up tonight and I loved it!! ( I can't stop raving about her).

$55.00 for the trial, $55.00 if you come to Estee or $75.00 if she comes to your home.

Totally listened to me. And I don't usually wear makeup - I felt like a princess!!

I had one trial, with JN. Loved her work! The trial is free, unless you want to try the airbrushing ($25, and worth it). She is in Smithtown, will come to you the day of. Her website is prettyme.com.

Is it me or many of these vendors seem to have similar types of names. The are all so girly sounding I get them mixed up.

I had a trial with Jillian from GF and loved her-booked her the next day.

I also had a hair trial with her collegue, Sarah, and she did a great job too- I also booked her.

So did I.. but i booked them right on the spot. Jillian and Sarah were absolutely amazing. the two of them were so nice and sweet and knew exactly what i wanted and did a wonderful job without me even having to say much.
