I booked Beauty by Natasha 8 months ago and after all this talk about her on this site recently, i decided to just give her a call to confirm my wedding date and so on. Well when i contacted her she said, 'you arent confirmed for that day' and i cant find your 'Reciept' !!! Well guess what I can! She also said that she is NOT turning down other inquiring brides for 6/30 because she wasnt sure she was really doing my makeup?! EXCUSE ME? No i just love giving people money for no reason
I paid her $1,555 upfront 8 months before the wedding (b/c im such a genious) for my hair/makeup plus extensions and two other peoples hair/mu and extensions but she CANT find my reciiept and she said i wasnt in her book.
Ev had a bad experiance with her and i thought maybe that was just a one time bad thing, well no its not!! She is extremely unorganized and unprofessional.
I told her i dont want her services anymore b/c i just DONT feel comfortable with her. Here i am going nuts b/c it is less than three months before my wedding now and i need to find a MU/Hair person ASAP and she doesnt deserve my money! Ive emailed so far: gorgous faces and the pedala sisters, Mia is booked...
Any more reccomandations? Please help!!!

oh believe me i am. Im going to ny in two weeks, shes going to personally give it to me thats not even the issue and im not worried about it at all i just need advice on who you girls think would still have this date open. All day yesterday and this morning i am emailing and calling anyone i can think of

we're using mya from cosmetic artistry... she's a doll! try her, she can do both hair & makeup! i hope she's free on your date....
i have a hair trial with roseanna amador (cosmoNY) on the 13th and ill post pics. she does clip in extensions.

i'm using mya also - i'm not sure if she does extensions but she is SO sweet and does amazing work. she also works FAST which is a plus when you've got multiple people to do. if she's free i'd definitely check her out.

What about Nicole D'Angio? She did the WOTY bride's hair.....
YOu better give that woman a good piece of your mind when you see her. Here i'm reading your post thinking- deposit- $200 - she won't see that again BUT $1500 and you can't find the reciept and didn't write it down? This woman sounds like a moron!
I don't know anyone to rec that does all those things except Marie from Salon Montage in Oceanside. You would have to go to her. She's really good and they have a make-up girl too. But I know what you are looking for and I dont' think that's it. YOu have plenty of time. Don't worry. I got my trial done last month. It will all work out!

I am using Helene: The Art of Makeup on 7/1. They definitely do extensions and travel. The website is heleneartofmakeup.com. I am soooo sorry this happened to you! My original hair and makeup guy stood me up for my trial and even though he has apologized profusely, I ditched him. You need someone you can trust. I have heard iffy things about this Natasha. Take you $$ and RUN!!

Thank you girls for your support and all of your help. I wrote so many emails today and now all i can do is sit here and wait for responses. It gives me so much anxiety lol!!! They all seem to take their time in responding back, im sure they are very busy
