Re: Making Cards
I think cards are soo much easier than pages because it is a smaller area to work with!!!!!Basically you can use anything that you would in a scrapbook--- any embellishments, textured papers, stickers, etc---
I get inspiration from other cards although I have never really scraplifted since I see a design think I am going to make it and then end up changing it--
I have found that I can 'spit out' a card in under 20 minutes so for me they are instant gratification!!!!!
The only thing I want to get better at is forcing myself to pre print something on the inside before i get started----that way I am not forcing myself to think upo things to write when it is time to give the card!!!
Good luck and have fun with it!!!!

Re: Making Cards
I dont usually use stickers in my sccrapbooks so I use alot of them on my cards. I love to collect clipart and fonts from the internet so I have tons of sorces to choose from!

Re: Making Cards
I was wondering the same thing, how you get started. I've made alot of my own cards and goodies but never in a 'scrappy' way. I want to make a card for my friend's new baby and I might try in the next day or so. I'll post it, if I'm not too embarrassed - with all the stuff I see you all do here, I might not want to show it.

Re: Making Cards
the more i have, the better i do!!!!crazy as it is, ME TOO !! Thats why we get along so well !!
Booking up my schedule is my middle name.
John gets crazy when I get myself 2 or 3 part time jobs, and a take a class at school, and then run the house, and make sure John Anthony is involved in every activity in the area
(no, none of this is going on right now, but this is what I was like last summer and fall
)oh and not to mention, have to make time for the coupons and grocery runs.. my natural HIGH in life!
Ive always LOVED being under pressure... whether studying, class assignments, or making something for a party, my creative juices REALLY flow under pressure..
ok, babbling end.
