i want to too! I hear staples has packets for like 20$ and they are easy include the vellum paper and everything I have a while but i am definetely gonna look into it.
I stopped by Party City and they had a kit with about 50 invites and envelopes and something else can't remember for about $37. They also sell the ribbon for the bow at the top you can do. The funny thing is that invitiation stores and online charge you so much for something you can do yourself! I stood in Party City and read the back of the box and it is so easy to do. I have to see what is economical as well. I am not looking for anything extravegant. Oh and they usually have the invitation stuff on sale. They actually had a big one last week at 50% off wedding invitation kits.
I searched the internet for weeks under graphics for different pictures for the background. There is so much cool stuff out there. I found the perfect picture of a little girl in the attic trying on her mom's wedding gown. I'm going to print that on the card and then have the invite printed on vellum on top tied with a ribbon. Really looks nice and very original. I like the personal touch. Another good place to get the cards, vellum etc. is Michaels Crafts (silk flowers too)
