making my bedroom sexy!!!

Hey girls, do you all have a sexy aura in ur bedroom to get you in the mood with ur DH???.

My bedroom is very 'cutesy' pink and green, very girly..but i want to add some pizazz to the sexual aura...what can i do to spice it up..

candles r the only thing i can think of!!!
also maybe.... that netting that goes over the bed?? satiny pillows and blankets?? anything else???

Aww poor Michi ... I say that you don't really need an 'aura' to make the bedroom sexy .. if you are with the right person, you can just light some candles.. play slow music... and you create the aura yourselves

We have new cranberry velvet curtains, with a moroccan/indian theme bedspread, and lamps with matching cranberry shades.

It's not going to be that sexy for long because we're going to be sharing it with our baby boy.

As one of my groomsmen always says.... christmas lights around the bed... along with 'Lets get it on' playing in the background should do the trick.

don't laugh, white christmas lights create ambiance baby!!! you can go to pier 1 and get a colored glass jar or something and stuff it with the strand and it creates a really nice look!

um, christmas lights say college dorm to me...not sure about anyone else...

How about a sheer red scarf over the light bulb??? or a dimmer on your light switch? I love lots of pillows.

How about hanging some chains, whips, love swing, etc...

true, but depends on how they're used. i've seen those fireplace mantles (without the fire) in bedrooms and the lights look nice on that! or you can create a fake fire with them. i don't have a picture to show you but i have a good image in my head.

im not really the person that should be answering these questions several people have told me that my bedroom is going to look like an asian whore house

That's soooo funny ... I think for our first Valentine's Day I told Tim I wanted red sheets ... not satin or anything, just regular cotton sheets.

Anyway, being a GUY, he couldn't find any ( ) and instead got a black satin sheet set ... eight years later, it's still in the packaging somewhere ...
