Today I have been given the task of collecting the addresses for my shower list... any pointers girls? Or programs that I can use to make this easier on myself? I saw Bonnie mentioned the guest list feature on LIW, but could I do that for my shower list? Or anything else you could suggest would be greatly appreciated!!

the knot has a guest list program and you can click a 'shower' button, i never used it but maybe you can try. i am also using excel to make my guest lists. HTH

For my STD I used the knot one and then imported it into excel. It made life really easy.

The shower list i kept on a piece of paper lol. I had a notebook just for these things. I also had it on computer, but in an email i had sent to MOH with everyones names and addresses.

Yeah maybe it is just easier to type in email... I dont know! I wish I could just give it to them in the mish mosh that I have been using to keep the addresses together on like random pages of paper

lol i had random pieces of paper and all a mess at first too, its just how i do it when i first start. I like sitting down for some reason and writing it out and having a hard copy of it. BUT just take all those papers and make a neat list for yourself and keep that and then save it too and when you do addresses for wedding invitations you already have all of those.

I just used the Access program (Excel) it was easy & i gav eit to my mom & sisters fo rmy shower & i used it for my Calligrapher & after all of my invites went out i added on columns for yes & no replies & Gift column to keep track of for afterthe wedding. Its easy
