everytime i do some research on a vendor i try to read every possible review to see what others experienced.

im trying to search for a florist and some reviews are good but the bad reviews make me second guess everything....how can i base my decision on a florist when i dont know how they will come out the day of my wedding and it scares me! does anyone feel like this...?

i dont know what to do :(

It is tough. I think taking a reference from someone who has used them is the best way to go. We are actually going to meet with a florist this weekend and they came recommended from someone in the family. I was able to view pictures of her wedding and see how her flowers came out as well as get what she paid so I know I won't get ripped off.

thats good.. i have an appt on saturday..recommended by a friend whose daughter used them for her wedding and she said they were nothing but wonderful...but reviews seemed mix..its so hard!

I've been reading reviews on everything that I can and it is very hard. Some reviews are good and some are bad. Then some might be recent and some old. Then you hope that these are real people reviews and not people who work for the company. It is tough I guess I will be going on recommendations, gut feelings and if they are reasonable for what I want.

no matter what... there will ALWAYS be bad reviews. No one is EVER pleased. just go based on gut feeling and recommendations.

I completely agree with everyone above...Reading reviews is so hard! I'd definitely go by as many recommendations as possible. It will ease your nerves!

Reading reviews is the worst! I feel like people only really leave reviews if they're genuinely pissed off and want to give the place a bad name. People expect different things and will always have a different experience. Ask people you know or check their Facebook page if they have one.

unless you see a ton of negative reviews I wouldn't worry. we went to Niagara falls (where we got engaged actually!) and researching hotels the Hilton had some real nasty reviews, we picked it anyway because it did look really nice. it was absolutely amazing, we had an amazing view I still miss until this day. the food was amazing too. I don't even know how anyone can complain about the views there or the room. it was brand new! so yeah some people are just impossible to please and they love to go write bad reviews.

Agreed with most above. Reviews mean nothing unless they are ALL bad. A lot of people will only post reviews if they had a really bad experience or an amazing experience
