I am getting all my proofs from Duet. Has anyone tried ordering pictures from a scanned proof? How do they come out? I would like to get additional larger pictures than are included in my package, but don't know if the quality would be compromised...Obviously it won't be AS good, but I was thinking I could save some $ that way...TIA!

I asked Duet if I could have all of my negs when the albums are done. You can probably get enlargements done cheaper at any photo place/drug store, etc. You can also make enlargements from scans. Either way you'll be compromising on quality. I think they would come out best if you had them do them. But I absolutely understand the whole thing and will probably have some enlargements doen on my own after I get the negs.

Did they throw in the proofs, or did you have that included in your package? They don't come with ours....

my FSIL did this for her thank you pictures. she gave a print to a photo lab and got multiple copies made, saved ca$h and one really couldn't tell the difference...

Sorry, my proofs were inlcuded.
You know it might be best to scan and print through shutterfly or snapfish or something. I had taken digital pics from my brothers wedding and just uploaded them to snapfish so that everyone could see them. My mom wanted prints though and ordered them from there and they came out really nicely. They were just 4X5 or whatever normal sized pics are, but they werent' bad.

i have all of my proofs includes which was said to be around 700-900 but we are getting albums and everything else (he just throws in the proofs and a CD of them)

My proofs and negatives are included from Duet. We just asked them and they said OK! They also showed us their prices for reprints and they are very reasonable

I believe she is using Leli photograpyhy not DUET........Duet did not mention the cd to me.....

SOME PLACES WILL NOT MAKE COPIES OF PROOFS i TRIED THAT AND THEY SAID THAT THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED BY LAE TO REPRINT PROFESIONAL PICS

They are not giving me a CD... ask them for the negatives I'm sure they will say OK!
