So one of my BFs who is male is going to be my bridesmaid and while he said he would wear a dress for me I think maybe that's NOT the best way to go. . so do I match him to the groomsmen? or what else could I do? I am going to make him carry a boquet though

Re: male bridesmaid?
I guess his tie should match the girls. I think he should have more of a connection to the girls than the guys. It's hysterical that he's carrying a bo-k!

You can call him a bridesman. That's what I am doing with one of my friends.

Re: male bridesmaid?
FH will have his sister as a 'groomsmaid'. We were going to have her in the same dress as the bridesmaid but her colors will match the groomsman.

Thats what I was gonna say, I would have him dressed like the groomsmen, but have him stand on your side during the ceremony so its clear that hes your important person :)
ETA, give him a bout, not a bo-k!

I say give him a bout. I feel like a bo-k may look funny.

A wedding that I was in a few years ago had a male BM. The bride did match him to the groomsmen...it was adorable!
