Man of Honor??

I already have a maid of honor, can i also have a man of honor. I have this friend Tim, and i have been friends with him since 3rd grade. I want to incorporate him in the wedding. He is not really FH friend, so I dont think he should be on his side. Would it be akward to have him stand on my side?? And should I have him match the girls? Any one ever hear of this? Opinions please?

My best friend had her male cousin in the wedding and she's really close with him so she wanted him to be on her side. It worked out well because her DHs best friend was a girl so she was on his side. She wore the same dress as us and he wore a tux..they were just standing on the opposite side. Turned out great!

Well, not all of my BM are from my side and not all of the GM are from FH's side. They are all mixed in and I'm just having girls on my side and the guys on his side.

I've never heard of this being done, but it's a great idea if you feel strongly about having him on your side!

I had my three best guy friends on my side of the BP - if it is important to you to include him, definitely do it!

I'm having a 'bridesdude' along with my bridesmaids. He's wearing a tux with a tie that matches the girls' dresses.

FH's best friend's wife had her brother as her man of honor instead of a maid or matron of honor. He wore the same tux as the GM did just that he stood on her side. At the reception when the bridal party joined in on the 1st dance he danced with his g/f and FH (bm) danced with me.

Remember it's your wedding so you can do whatever you want to make your day special.

Yes it is alright. I have 2 men of honor standing beside me. Have him wear the same tux as the men..at least that is what I am doing.
