1 of my bm, want to wear antique gold color strappy sandals..with the mango colored, dress?
What is your opinion. Originally, I told, her I wanted them to have matching shoes. But, she went out and purchased, the gold sandals for her and her sister...what is your opinion.
Do you think, it would match?

Gold? I dunno. I guess you would have to see them to be sure. My sister/MOH is wearing the same color, and i hadn't even thought about shoes.
Which is your dress - the halter style one? That's mine in Tranquil.

Mango can go with gold..is it shiny gold or matte gold? just wondering, but it does not make a difference. what color shoes will the other bm's wearing?

Here I am being Miss nasty bride 2004 - but I would probably tell her nicely to return the shoes - I think it doesn't matter if they go or not, if you didn't want them to have gold shoes - then they should do what you ask. I mean, when its all said and done, and the wedding picture is on your desk at work, you are going to stare at it.... and just see those shoes you don't like. I would take the funny angle in trying to break it to them like this.... 'well, seeing as how you (the BM) aren't trying out to be an extra in Sat. Nite Fever, why don't we just go with the dyed Mango shoes then.... great!'

My girls were in Champagne with accents of gold and ivory. I LOVE champagne!
I agree that gold can go with mango but I think that they shouldn't have gone off on there own and purchased the gold shoes if you asked them not to. I would politely ask them to return them because that's not what you had in mind. its your wedding and if you dont want them then they shouldnt wear them.

I have the moh wearing apple, the other 3 in mango. I told them from the beginning. It was suppose to be matching shoes. Up until my cousin, called me and asked me off guard, can she purchased, and antique gold color shoe from BCBG. (for her and her sister).
So, now I will have 2 bm with gold sandals. The other girl with matching mango sandals / the moh in apple colored sandals-(the dress is the same color). I hate it when people do not cooperate. I wanted, to have everyone matching.
I feel like calling my cousin, and telling her I am so sorry, but I want all the girls to match-what do you guys think?

JMO, but I don't think it's really a big deal what color shoes they are wearing, as long as they go good with the dress. I think the gold strappy sandals might actually look nice...maybe if you took a look at them?? As long as they don't look like grandma's gold lame disco shoes..... But it's your decision...and you are entitled to say NO when it comes down to what you really feel strongly about.
