I know this is a LI post but i was just curious if anyone is looking at places in the city. I would love to have an intimate wedding somwhere with a nice terrace. Any suggestions?

We originally were opting for a big place with a lot of guests. In the end due to family issues we decided to keep it smaller like a 100 guests, so we thought about the city (we live in the city anyway) i just hope that places arent really that expensive since its in the city. I heard of the Kitano, it looks nice but looks expensive

Hi Danielle,
I'm getting married in the city. At the Yale Club - about 130-140pp. The YC has a huge terrace on the 22nd floor which we are using for the cocktail hours. There prices were reasonable - for NYC.
You might want to try going to the Knot - the local NYC boards for venue information. Unfortunately, you cannot really do a search there like you can do here.

I looked at several places in NYC, before finding the where I'm having my reception now (grand prospect hall) and there are TONS of places to look at..trywww.paintthetownred.net and def check out weddingchannel.com's board.. they have alot of ideas as well.
