Manicures...

I am going to get a manicure later today...I know everyone will think this is crazy, but , I've never had one! I like doing my own nails, but def. want to get a manicure and pedicure for the wedding, so I thought I would try it out before. My question is, do I have to bring my own tools? Its a little weird knowing they use the same tools on everyone. I know they disinfect them, but...

P.S. I am goimng to Solo Spa where I get my hair done, if that is any help as far as cleanliness and being sanitary...

You can bring your own tools if that makes you feel more comfortable. They will use whatever you want.
At the place where I go, they give you a kit so that you have your own files and buff bar. They are spotless in there, so I never feel uncomfortable when they use their own tools on me, since I see that it is sitting in the disinfectant.

They do sanitize the utencils. And you are going to a Salon which I think is much more clean than those small hole in the wall nail shops. If you are wooried bring your own nail file, etc. Or ask if you can purchase it at the salon. Some salons create a box to hold all the stuff and assign a number so when you go back you just tell them your number and they get the box with your tools in it and only use them on you.
Good luck - you will love getting a manicure. I used to do my own then got hooked on having my nails and feet done. Its awesome. Some give a small massage to your hands and feet when they apply the lotion.
