My FH refused. I think there's a big diff between guys in their 30s and guys in their 20s. Like FH's younger brother is a total metrosexual. Then again, I could be totally wrong.

FH loves the mani/pedi - If he is reluctant then send him to the spa to have it done. It is a little more private.

FH is def going for a mani....he has awful cuticles!

As for the pedi....he always asks me to cut his toenails but last time I was like NO, I am taking you for a pedi and I am paying. He relunctly came and loved it. He loved getting his legs massaged! I asked if he will go again and he said yes!

ok well FH used to work at Elizabeth Arden. His mom is a Manager there and she got him the job when he was 14. He worked there until up to when he left for the Marines at age 17/18. haha

He worked as a cleaning kid doing the towels etc. Then got into it so much he became the front desk person and stepped in as Head Manager of the whole salon when she was out because hse trusted a 16-17 yr old more than some of her other employees!! haha

so he has had massages, pedi, manis, facials waxing of the eyebrows haha.

but he hasnt had them in awhile since he doesnt work there anymore. but he said when he gets back from Iraq he will go get one.

see this is what i dont get, i think fh has had a facial, he doesnt get his eyebrows waxed bc they are naturally like that meanwhile im here every 2 weeks having to do it, its not fair lol. He will go to a salon to get his hair cut, but also goes to barbers for the shape up, but has gotten colored at a salon. But a mani is a big deal

im going to show him this thread maybe it will convince him

FH is very macho, I mean really super lol and he has gotten mani's before.

He would NEVER!!!!

I have to do his nails - I beg him to let me cut them, he rips them and they look like CRAP!!!

FH also has a punching bag that he likes to beat - he has been warned not to do it for a few weeks before the wedding since he litterally beats it til his hands bleed

I'm really trying to het fh to go but he hasn't decided yet. My guy friend that gets pedicures regularly advised me to have him get pedicure a while before the wedding in case it bothered his feet!

Re: Mani/Pedi for fh??

I've been trying to get my FH to go for the longest time and he wouldn't do it. I even had gone and given him a gift certificate to a spa for a pedicure. Then one night in bed he rubbed his very scaly and rough feet on me (yuck) and since I was half asleep I asked why he was wearing socks! Ouch!! Well after that he decided it really was necessary. He says he will never tell any of his friends he went, but he loved it and even bought their exfoliant cream and uses it all of the time. He says he will go back as long as I keep his secret from his friends!
