MANOR EAST in massapequa
anyone know anything about them
i really liked the place going there for a tasting with the parents in a week but never heard about it from anyone
someone anyone please review !

Check out the Brides Review thread here at LIW, and search Manor East. It was suggested I look there, but we had already been to several halls and had narrowed it down. I hear it's real nice!

We looked there. It's beautiful and the price is great! My biggest worry was the room for CH was right on a main road, and while we were looking you could hear all the traffic.

MY DH WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAME THING WE DECIDED TO BOOK ELSEWHERE

I WENT TO MANOR EAST AND WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE CH AND DINNER MENU THE PRICE WAS AWESOME AND THE PLACE WAS NICE BUT WHEN I SAW THE LARKFIELD MANOR I FELL IN LOVE !!!!!!!

BTW A COWORKER HAD HIS WEDDING THERE AND LOVED IT, HOWEVER ANOTHER COWORKER THAT WENT TO THE WEDDING SAID IT WAS JUST ALRIGHT HTH

FH was there for a wedding last year, and he was raving about the food, I've never been, but he still mentions it. HTH

my parents just went to a christening last Sunday and said the place was really pretty BUT the service was awful.They said empty glasses and dishes were left on the tables even though new ones were brought out, the food came out cold and on top of it being 1 of the hottest days last Sunday...there was no AC. LIPA apparently cut the AC down said the manager.

My parents aren't really ones to complain to much so I was surprised to hear all this. It honestly just could've been a really off day for the whole place that day :)

I know a few people who got married there, they thought it was great. I grew up in Massapequa and didnt even look there because I didnt want to get married at a place I drove past my whole life. Crazy I know!

I had my shower there. Pics in my album.

Love the place and the food was very good!!!

And my BM or attendant or whoever she was did an amazing job. She was so nice an attentive!
