MY FH had a party/shower as he called it at work today. They gave him champagne & also a gift check. So nice.
They gave him card & all the people wrote in it...one girl wrote 'Let me know how it goes, I still have time to change my mind' She is engaged also......but OMG Would you die if you saw that in your FH card?? I am certainly flattered but jealous at the same time.
Another girl wrote...You're a great catch!!

when i first read it i didn't interpret it the way you did.. i thought the woman is saying ..let me know how the married life is, i'm engaged so i still have time to not get married.. you know what i mean? i don't think she means if it doesn't work out i'll dump who i'm with to be with you... but that's just how i would interpret it.

either way, she probably just has that type of personality where she would assume that people would know she's joking and not take it literally.
I think that's REALLY sweet that they gave him a little 'man shower' at work. lol. That was thoughtful of them. Why should it be JUST the women who get all the fun?

That was what I thought she meant too...I never thought of it the other way. That's great that they treated him!
