Has anyone ever tasted maple sugar candy? We are having a fall theme, and were thinking of putting some of the candies out for the guests on the placecard table or something. But I will have to order it, and have no idea what it tastes like...it looks good

I never had it but my FH LOVES it. It sounds cute. He had them in the shape of leaves and stuff. Very cute idea.

I love maple sugar candy. My FH is Canadaian and we go up to Quebec every year to see his family. The little shops make it fresh and it is delicious. It's basically pure sugar, very sweet.

I went to a wedding in Vt, and they gave maple candy, its ok...VERY sweet though.....

I used to love it but I'd only had 1 or 2 at a time. Then, in college, one of my friends from VT came to stay with me for a week and gave me two boxes. I was like a crack fiend with the maple candy until I got sick from eating too much of it. It's good though - in small doses .

You know what I love even better than maple candy? Maple Taffy! YUMMMMMMMMMMM! We used to get it every year in Quebec...
