March/April 2016 Wedding Venue -- Exposed Brick? Quotes?
Hi Everyone! I'm very newly engaged and already somehow feeling behind. I was hoping to find a venue with exposed brick for an indoor reception. So far I was only able to find the Riviera in Massapequa. I was dead set on scheduling a visit to LI to see it because it looks beautiful in photos, but I am a bit disappointed because my mom and I received such drastically different quotes when I spoke to one person on the phone and when she met with them in-person. I'm a bit turned off to the venue after feeling lied to over the phone, so if anyone has information on a similar looking venue I would love it.Is anyone familiar with a budget-friendly venue that is a little bit industrial OR rustic, preferably with exposed brick?
Also, if anyone can give me information on quotes they received for a Saturday night in March/April that would be amazing!

How about fox hollow? Their winter garden room might fit what you are looking for. I am going to FM you the quotes I got for 2016. I am booked in the winter garden room for April of 2016.

Definitely the winter garden room at fox hollow... I think a few of the lessings venues have that vibe as well. If you go to the lessings website you can look at each venue. Many of them have an all inclusive package going right now too.

Also check out old field club.. Similar rustic style. Not sure of price though.

One of the East Wind rooms (I think the Estate) has exposed brick. We didn't end up booking there but I loved that room.

Winter garden room at fox hollow is a good option. I also looked at Old field and it is beautiful but the quotes i got, it was a fair amount more expensive than Fox Hollow. You could also try to look at three village inn. I'm not sure if its exposed brick, but i think it might have a rustic style. Same with Timber Point. I have quotes from these if you want any ;)

This was what I was looking for, I'd recommend fox hollow firstly, I'm so excited about booking there, it was an obvious winner. I'd also recommend larkfield, old field club, coral house, and even one of the museums (aviation museum was gorgeous, but too pricey). If you have a small guest list, maybe insignia is an option too!If you want some outside long island venues, Roundhous at beacon falls was my DREAM location. But too far north and too pricey. Diamond mills was also gorgeous, we visited there. Bear mountain inn was very rustic, less industrial.

I am booked at the Riviera so I am a little bias but I thought their pricing was very reasonable and you get a lot in the package. I would still visit and put them on the spot with pricing and get a straight answer but if you have any questions let me know. And I was looking for the same exact thing and these are the venues that i found that fit the bill- some nicer and some more expensive than others:
Riviera at Massapequa
Stewart Manor Country Club
Fox Hollow- Somerley Room
Old Field Club (a little pricey)
Douglaston Manor
Coral House

Not sure what your budget is, but the Village Club at Lake Success has exposed brick in the reception room, dark wood floors, crystal chandeliers. Very modern and unique to other venues we looked at. Worth checking out, even if you just check out their website (their FB page has many more photos of the actual venue)
