March Brides - Updates

Hi ladies. Glad we revived the March thread! I have been checking things off my list like crazy. IN the past month we:
ordered and picked up our wedding rings
got the bus/limo
bought the BP and parent gifts
ordered my headpiece and veil
had the program cover designed
recieved and delivered the BM dresses
bought my earrings and borrowed my necklace
ordered and printed out the wedding maps
made makeup trial appt for 1/25

I am picking up my invites today - I have yet to see them and I am so nervous! They are all addressed so my mom and dad are going to help me stuff them. They will go out next week.
The major things I have left to do are:
start fittings
buy shoes
meet with church to set ceremony
get a ceremony vocalist
final meetings with vendors
hair trial after pick up headpiece on 2/1

I went to a wedding last weekend. My FH and I had 6 weddings to go to between our engagement and our wedding. THat was the last one!! I actualy was nervous in the church thinking about our day. It's coming so quickly!!

Can't go to the get together. I will be away for the weekend with my college friends. It's our annual reunion.

Hope everyone had a great weekend, mine was pretty good I didnt do any wedding Stuff, Nice for a break!!

Went shopping with Aunt and got her dress for wedding.

Recieved first RSVPs on Saturday, 9 Yes' so far, it is very exciting!

cant wait to get mail tonight, I know I am a dork.

Hey March Brides....

Unfortunately, I will not be able to go to the get together, but I feel like I got so much done this weekend.

Invites were completed and mailed on Saturday, I selected my altar arrangements for the cermony, I had my make-up trial, and one of my showers was Saturday. It was a nice time, but now my FH and I very little room in our apartment. Tonight I am going to buy some storage bins and return the duplicates to one of the stores.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I know what you mean about space after shower, I still have a bunch of my shower gifts in our spare room since my Dec shower.

I need to get in there and clean it all out before the wedding so my pregnant sister and husband have somewhere to stay.

but its worth it, alright.

I just got my wedding shoes Today, they arrived at work alittle while ago, they are nice, but the bow looks nicer in pic. But they are just fine. I really wanted a different shoe but they didnt have a back and I figured I was Safer with the back.

I already got three responses back and I just sent the inviations last Tuesday. I'm like a kid on Christmas when I open the envelopes.

I actually just finished typing up a suggested song list for my band. It was like doing homework all over again so I just kept putting it off until the very last minute.

I get to pick up my headpiece on Saturday and the following Saturday I have a hair trial appt.

I 'm a registry peeker and I'm noticing things are leaving my registry so I guess my shower is coming upo. We were invited to my FH's uncle's surprise b-day party in Feb. so I'm thinking that's the day.

We are going tolook at wedding bands this weekend and tuxedos and try to scratch that off the list. We already have a place for the rehearsal dinner we just have to nail down a day and time with the church.

Hey March Brides!

I am so excited about a bunch of things that I had to share:

1. When I got home last night, we received 11 responses back (10 yes, 1 no). I only mailed the invitations on Saturday, so I am surprised we got so many so fast.

2. My dress finally made it. I am still waiting to hear about my headpiece, but hopefully I will be able to go to the shop in the next few days and try it on.

3. My FH and I have an accepted offer on a house. There is a possibility that we may close before the wedding (which will be crazy), but we are so excited about it.

I'm a March 30 bride, hoping to have my invites out by Sunday. Have my first preliminary fitting w/ seamstress tomorrow (!!!!!)
Booking honeymoon Sunday and hopefully ordering wedding bands.
Soooo much left to do, have no idea for bridal party gifts.

My headpiece is in!! I am going tomorrow to pick it up and next week I am going for a hair trial.

I sent the invites out last week and I already got a bunch of responses.

Made up the song list for the band so hopefully we will get it to them by next week.

Going to look for tuxes next week.

So much left to do too. Just as I cross something off my list something else gets added.

Sounds like we are all Moving along Nicely, How exciting.

I booked my trial yesterday doing in Feb 15th and booked me and my girls for the Big day so exciting.

I still am not sure what I am going to do with my hair, want something different then what I wear when I am a BMs.
need to do some searching.

We booked our RD location this week, so that is one more thing off our list.

This weekend I have to start working on my shower thank yous. My goal is to get most if not all of them done by next week.

Hey Girls TODAY is OUR 2 MONTH MARK
I cant believe it TIME is flying by.

I finally got my first no (ONLY 1) but they sent a check too, which was really nice Never expected that and especially from neighbors i havent seen in Years.

Just trying to finish up every little thing, you know how it is Just.

WOW, it is all so overwhelming.

Hey girls!

The RSVP's are coming back, only 2 no's so far but one of the no's did send a check. That was very nice of them. I actually have to write a thank you note tonight.


On Saturday I picked up my headpiece.Its so beautiful. When I got home I put it on and danced around like I was Cinderella.

I have a hair trial this Saturday and my mom goes for her first fitting for her dress on Saturday too.
Next Saturday we have our tasting/menu selection at Milleridge. We also pick out our cake.

I also just got a email from Stateline Wholesalers. I order ribbon for my favors from them. The ribbons are coming on Friday.

We are going to look for tuxedos this weekend.
My FH is in charge of getting our song list to the band and booking a place for the rehearsal dinner. He found a place we just have to nail down a date for the rehearsal with the church (which I am going to call now)

Still need to get bridal party gifts.

Next week we go to the travel agent and finalize our cruise. Can't wait for that especially with all this cold weather.
