Marisa Gown

I ordered a Marisa gown and it's not on the designer's website. Does anyone know of a site that carries Marisa gowns so I can look at it?

i got a marisa gown too...unfortunately there are very few pics available...we don't get to stare at our dress like everyone else..lol

At bridal reflections, they said that just got it in so I know it's fairly new but I want to look at it even though I am keeping it a secret.

yeah...i don't think they have updated that site since like 2006 or 2007...

Lol that would be great!

I have a picture of myself in my gown but it has this applique on it that I'm not sure if I want or not. I wanted to see it on a model or something to see if I like it.

You should ask your bridal salon for pictures! Kleinfeld's took pictures of mine on a model and emailed them to me so i had high quality pictures!

they let me take pictures in my dress at kleinfelds... not the same as having a picture on the model though... by the end of trying on a million dresses i looked terrible haha. but its the only picture i have! ...keeping it all a secret though

Hey we are both Royalton/Marisa brides... lots in common!! Try looking at the gowns under the Kleinfeld website!

I just kept googling the style number and eventually girls in the dress popped up...what style number is it????

I got a Marisa Dress too!!!! My dress is not online either!! Its stinks!
The manager at Bridal reflection said Marisa stopped advertsing because a popular designer keeps knocking her off!!!

What season is your dress from?

I noticed a lot of strong similarities between Marisa and Melissa Sweet gowns. I don't know who is copying who. I would think that Marisa copies Melissa Sweet gowns because Melissa Sweet uses more expensive fabrics so I would think that Marisa's gowns are the more affordable version.

I got my dress in October and was told that the dress just came into the stop so what is that, Spring 2009?

You are correct! Melissa Sweet, thats what the manager said. She upcharges the designs. Marisa's Fabric is a very good quality. When i was trying on dresses the attendant was showing me other dresses that were a little more expensive than mine and the fabric was a poorer (if thats a word) quality. I am a designer so I know all about fabric and with a Marisa dress you are getting your money's worth.
We all made a great choice!!!!

I ordered my dress in July and it came in 3 weeks ago. 3 months early! I was so excited!!! There is a good chance yours will come in early too!

i ordered mine in july and it is still not in..she said by end of november...i am dying to see it!!!

It's unbelievable how similar the gowns are. I tried on 2 that were pretty much exact copies.

If my dress comes in early, when do you do your first fitting? Immediately or wait a few more months?

You dont do your fittings until about 2 months before the wedding date. But they let you come in and try on the dress when it comes in. I tried my dress on last weekend!!!! Its awesome- i love it!!!

When I got measured, my chest, hips, and waist were 3 different sizes so they weren't sure what to order. I hope what they ordered turns out to be ok!!

I also bought a Marisa dress. I searched for weeks on google.com looking for pictures of my dress. I finally found them. So I would suggested that maybe you try to look on google.com also and hopefully you can find some.

Thanks for the google images suggestion! I haven't been able to find it yet and I'm hoping it's because it's too new and not because everyone else thinks it's ugly and no one else bought it! lol
