can anyone tell me what kind of packages and prices mark kauffman offers and those that did use him, how did your proofs and pics come out? is he good to work with?

Sonicstef and Michele31 used MK photographers very recently and they both posted a ton of pics. If you want to see some of them, you can do a search.

We booked with Mark for our 9/27/03 wedding and couldn't be happier. He is a bit expensive but is willing to work with you on the packages. I loved his work and loved the service he provided. Since I live in the city, I haven't met Mark himself but have spoken to him several times and he is wonderful. I met with some of his people here in NY (they come to the city once a month) and they were great. FM me if you want more details. Michele31 and Sonicstef both used Mark - if you do a search under their names you can find their pictures.

I used his photographers (jodi & lynn) and am very happy. Mark has been great throughout the planning and continues to be very easy to work with.
His packages are not cheap but you get a lot of photos (average 1000-1500 per wedding) which was one of the key reasons I choose his studio and make the prices worthwhile. There are a lot of other reasons as well but the point is Im quite happy and have no regrets. Many, many, many of my photos are posted in another thread as are Micheles if you want to see what I mean.

I am VERY happy that we booked Mark to take our photos. I had Mark, Roy and Jackie (orginally I had Lynn and Roy but Lynn had a family emergency and Mark took her place). The fact that Mark didn't subsitute another photographer, but stepped in himself says a lot. He is not an inexpensive photographer, but he is worth the money we paid him. I booked with MK for my 10/19/03 wedding and couldn't be happier! I couldn't afford a 'fine art' photographer, which is his top of the line photographer. He gives you different options to fit your budget. I've got a photographer (haven't selected yet) that's one step away, how different can this one be? I have the option to upgrade later if I choose. Mark has been very easy to work with, although I've yet to meet him myself. His associates are very nice and easy to talk to.
