Marquis diamond help?

Original post by lauren1802

i have a marquis (sp?) style diamond with 2 simple baguettes on the side.

we went looking for wedding rings to go with my ring and it was so tough!! The curved ones look dumb and straight rings w/ the round stones do too.

I'm not looking to spend a lot, and have only briefly considered having one 'made' at tri- county.

I went to zales where all our wedding rings/eng rings were purchased so far.

may try marinellis in eastport bc i like them :)

Any other ideas? What are any other marquis brides doing? Has anyone seen anything that might work?

also not looking to go crazy spending! lol

Would you be willing to do an interlock instead of a separate band? They can be made to fit the marquis shape. It's an extension of the diamond shape and really can give a blingy look if you're into that.

i dont really know what you mean ? not sure if i've ever seen this before - is this the one they fit to both sides of the e-ring?

I tried looking for a pic but can't find one. I know someone who has one so I'm trying to describe what they have & I'm terrible at explaining things!

They do fit it to both sides of the ring, so your actual engagement ring will fit in the middle of both sides. It's not permanently attached, so you could always wear your engagement ring without the interlock if you wanted. Her particular interlock looked almost like a triangle on each side, to continue the points of the marquis shape & was all diamonds. Very blingy.

Google images has some options, just not the style I was thinking. Sorry if I completely confused you!
