Marriage advice from the older and wiser at my bridal shower
At my bridal shower this past weekend, after I opened my gifts some of the older and wiser women gave me marriage advice and It was actually fun!
Got some really unexpected crazy ones (you really dont want to know! lets just say that my face must have been bright bright red ) some standard ones like communication is key, comprehension, patience...etc..
Then there was the don't ever say you have a headache, and if you really are not in the mood, say your leg hurts! It so easy to get caught up in the 'I'm tired' with work, and then with kids. That intamacy becomes secondary, so dont let it happen!
Don't be afraid to go crazy or to try things you never thought of before, esp. to spice things up.

Although these are things that we might already know or do, I thought it was great because sometimes its so easy to forget, especially with all this wedding planning and the wedding being so close! Even this weekend with my bridal shower, I was completely wiped out, exhausted out of my mind, and when I got home I REALLY was not in the mood, but I thought of the 'older and the wiser' and said what the heck, I'll let him put me in the mood! and it was great. forgot about how tired I was. Sorry if TMI! lol just wanted to share because FH and I already live together so sometimes it feels like we are already married.
