Marriage certificate

Hi Girls.
I am waiting for my marriage certificate, but not sure how it works. Will the just mail it to me after they'll get my marriage license or do I have to do anything else? Do I have to request it?
What's the waiting period to get it? It's been over a week since we mailed it. Can I just go to city hall and ask for it?

It took around 2 weeks for us to get it after our pastor sent it to get processed. That was in March. It was waiting for us 2 weeks after our wedding, which was the day we came back from the honeymoon.

Since you were married recently, and there are so many weddings going on, give it at least those 2 weeks, and I am sure it will arrive between 2 and 3 weeks. Unfortunately you have to wait for it in the mail.
