Marriage Certificate

Hi Girls
I just wanted to confirm- for a marriage cert we need BOTH a birth cert, and a passport/license?
I can't find my birth cert :(

You can go to a town hall and get it right then and there for about 15 dollars.. just bring your SS and ID. i went to the one is islip

you need a baptismal certificate for your wedding if you are marrying in a church. you can bring that with you. FH brought his license and birth cert, i brought my license and baptismal cert.

i had lost mine too... i went to the town of oysterbay because i was born in plainview hospital... showerd them my driver lic paid 10.00 and got it. very simple

My DH needed a new copy of his (we then 2 weeks later found his original at home-stupid boys ) so we paid for one there. Then we were able to get our marriage license. I think it was like $10 for birth cert. reprint and $40 for marriage license. We went to Brookhaven town hall so prices might be different. I would call before you go. Good luck!
