Marriage certificate

Hey guys- we just got married and we signed the married license and gave it to the rabbi. Once our he sends it back to the Marriage Bureau, will we get the certificate in the mail or do I need to request a copy?

fyi - if you went to the manhattan clerks office is can take up to 8 weeks.
