Does anyone know if I need to get a birth certificate translated if it is not already in English. My FH was born in Greece and has been here sinc ehe was 9mths old. He is an American citizen and has all his other paperwork but his birth certificate is in Greek. Anyone know.. or anyone know ho i have to call to find out?
I would honestly say to call your town hall where you would get the marriage license and ask if it needs to be translated. So I guess whichever you would use in Queens for the license. I'm sure they could help you!

Re: Marriage Lic. Question
That is a good question. I went on Friday and to tell you the truth they just looked to see if they had a raised seal. But I would still check just in case.

you don't need a birth certificate... I believe you can use naturalization papers as proof of age....
