How long before the actual wedding should you get the marriage license?
I called the priest at my church and he's not sure....

you can get it 30 days before. I seem to remember the church telling us something about it being valid for 60 days or something like that? Maybe my memory fails me - If I'm wrong I'll check when I get home from work.

You have to wait until you are at least 60 days before your wedding. But you can't use it for 24 hours so don't go the absolute last day!!

that's the part i was forgetting - 24 hours to take effect! i knew the church told us 30 - 60 days before was ideal lol.

Within 60 days of the wedding, but more than 24 hours before your wedding. We've been meaning to go for weeks and are just getting to go tonight.
