You can get your marriage license 60 days from your wedding date, but no later than 24 hours than your date. You can go to any Town/City Hall in NY State. The Boros cost $35. LI costs $40. It depends on where you are going as to what id you need to bring. I hear they are more lax in the city- and you just need a license or passport. I have heard in LI towns, some want an original birth certificate and other form of id. I would google the town that is most convenient for you and FH to go to and take it from there!! HTH!
