marriage license

Where do I go to get this?? I live in Bethpage (nassau)...thanks! and are they opened on the weekends?

I live in queens and got my marriage license from the courthouse in kew gardens. I think you have to go to your town hall or court and apply there. I doubt they would be open on the weekends.

Town Hall. They are only open during the week. Usually you can only come in for the license until 4:45

and possibly go to the Oyster Bay Town Hall?

Mari - you can go to any town hall in NY - they are all only open during the week. There's the town of oyster bay one on Hicksville Road in Massapequa. Also there's one on Plandome Rd in Manhasset, that's where we went, they were so super fast and easy.

We went to Oyster Bay and the woman who does the licenses is a RIOT. Also, it turns out that her son taught DH how to do an eye exam when he was in med school in Buffalo.

we went to the one on plandome rd too. There are certain nights they're open a little later if you make an appt. Not too late though, like 6 or something

AHhh..what am i supposed to do! FH just started a new position and doesn't get home from Manhattan until 6:15...he really shouldn't be leaving early or taking a personal day yet!!!

I saw your other post earlier & was thinking maybe you should take off & go into the city and he can go on his lunch hour.
