marriage license

How far ahead has everyone gone for theirs? FH needs to put in for the day now and we are trying to figure out when to do this.

it's only valid for 3 months in NY so with a sept wedding, you can't get it earlier than june.

ETA: thanks to all the girls here who corrected me ... it's valid for 60 days ... so you should get it in july

It is only valid for 60 days. We're going towards the end of April, first week in May. Maybe May 4th since we have our final meeting at JT that day.

I mentioned that to him-but he doesnt read that part of Queens and he said the managers are riding around watching them cause a few guys were caught playing basketball during work hours and he doesnt want to get caught doing this during work hours.

we went a month out. i had a day off from work for the holiday. so FH took off the day to do that and run errands

Thats right- it was football- not basketball!!! He didnt tell me thats how they were caught though. He said that he heard someone saw them and called it in!
