Marriage License

Can I get my marriage license in Queens even if I'm getting married in Nassau? If I can get the license in Queens, where is the location I would have to go??

I believe so because I got my marriage license in Nassau and I'm getting married in Suffolk.

Marriage license are a state thing not county I don't see why not

As long as you get the license in the state you are getting married you are fine.

I didn't think you could get a ML in Queens. I thought within NYC it has to be at the Marriage Bureau downtown.

i'm getting married in queens and our priest told us to go to the town hall in manhasset (nassau), since it'll probably be less hectic, so i think you're OK!
