When do you get your marriage license and what do I need to get one??!! We are getting married in 59 days........

you can get it at town hall.. i'm brookhaven.. i needed a check and 2 forms of id (passport and license).. i heard some require baptism cert..call your town hall and see what they require.... they are good for 60 days but you must get at least 24 hours in advance

We got ours at town of Islip. We needed birth certificate, and picture ID (passport or drivers license). It was $40 and we filled out some additional paperwork there. Its the town clerk who issues them. If you google the name of the town and town clerk most of them have info on their requirements. Good luck!

Oh its any town clerk and the earliest is 60 days before and the latest is 24 hours (but I wouldn't advise waiting that long Its good for 60 days basically.
