Stupid question do I get the license at city hall and exactly what happens? Do I need to bring witnesses and hoe long does this take

You can go to any town hall. You just have to bring you and your FH, $40 and both of your drivers license and birth certificate. It only takes 10-15min because they have to type it up (as long as there is no line to wait).
But it is only valid for 60 days and you have to wait 24 hours before you can get married. You have plenty of time to get it.

Its fairly easy, a long as you have your Birth certificate, Drivers License and are both there together applying. Its not good for 24 hours and expires 90 days after the date its active. The cost is 40 dollars.
